HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE COURSESBiologyThis course explores the nature of life. Students will learn taxonomy as they study the anatomy of plants, animals, and humans. The course will conclude with a section on genetics and the molecular basis of life. Students will also be exposed to laboratory procedures and keep a lab journal.
AnatomyThis is an Honors Course that explores the human body in full detail from muscles and bones down to cells and atoms.
Prerequisite: Bilogy ChemistryThis course will expose students to both classical and modern theories of matter. Students will gain an understanding of how the world works at a fundamental level. Students will explore the periodic table of elements, learn to use chemical equations, and gain laboratory knowledge of chemical interactions.

This course will teach students the fundamental principles of nature. Students will learn why and how the world operates as it does. Students will study the nature of motion, forces, energy, light, and electricity. This course has a heavy emphasis of lab work and hands on projects.
